Who we are

Regeneration Meghalaya is a project by Earthtree Enviro Private Limited, an Indian sustainable agriculture and horticulture services company, that supports farmers to achieve their goals in producing sustainable agro commodities through regenerative land management.

Our vision is to promote large scale restoration and regeneration of the forests of Meghalaya from degraded lands through sustainable land development and community empowerment.

Our Advisors

Tony Marak‘s career in the Indian Forest Service spans over 36 years, beginning as a Lecturer in Botany before joining the service in 1976-77. He held key positions, including Divisional Forest Officer, Conservator of Forests, and Chief Conservator of Forests in Meghalaya. He also served as Executive Chairman of the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) and Principal Chief Conservator of Forests. Currently, he is the Chairman of the State Environment Impact Assessment Authority, Meghalaya.

Barkos Warjri, born on February 28, 1956, in Shillong, joined the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in 1978. He served in key roles across Manipur, Bangalore, and Meghalaya, where he became Chief Secretary in 2014. Warjri was pivotal in establishing the North Eastern Region Community Resource Management Project (NERCORMP) to uplift marginalized tribal families in Northeast India.
